The Korea Football Association said on the 15th, “Coach Klinsmann will watch the match between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Gangwon FC at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the 16th and visit the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 17th to watch the match between FC Seoul and Gwangju FC.”
After playing friendly matches against Wales on the 8th and Saudi Arabia on the 13th in England, Klinsmann returned home via Incheon International Airport on the 14th.
Klinsmann was originally scheduled to move directly from England to Germany and watch the match between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen on the 16th, but he changed his plan and returned to Korea.
This is interpreted as a plan change in consideration of criticism that Klinsmann, who took office in February this year, has only stayed in Korea for 67 days during his tenure of more than half a year.
Coach Klinsmann said in an interview on the 14th that he has a schedule to keep going back and forth because there are games to observe in foreign countries such as Europe.
The South Korean national soccer team, led by head coach Klinsmann, will play friendly matches in Korea against Tunisia on October 13 and Vietnam on October 17.
